A pan-ERR agonist showing endurance/metabolic effects in rodents; there is no human data.
SLU-PP-332 is a recently developed compound nicknamed an 'exercise mimetic.' It activates the estrogen-related receptors (ERRs), which act as master regulators of how cells generate and burn energy.
By switching on ERR, it ramps up the genes for oxidative metabolism and for making new mitochondria in muscle, increasing fat burning and endurance capacity in rodents — effects resembling some of what exercise produces.
The crucial point: this is entirely preclinical. There is no human data at all, and its safety in people is unknown, so any claims about human benefit are speculative.
